- TI_NetworkFailure
Error message: Internet connection not detected.
Resolution: How do I resolve errors ET101, ET102, ET103, ET104, ET106?
This error code usually indicates a problem connecting with the license server. If you encounter one of these errors, try the following:
- Make sure that your computer is connected to the internet. Verify that you can connect to https://education.ti.com/login.
- Verify the date and time is set correctly.
- Sometimes, security software, such as antivirus, anti-malware or firewall software, can block a program’s access to the internet. Make sure that security and firewall software are set to allow communication from your TI software to the internet. If this is a personal computer, please see your antivirus or firewall documentation for more information on how to change these settings. An exception should be added for https://edtech.ti.com, https://education.ti.com and https://activation.ti.com to your security software. If your system only accepts a domain please add ti.com. If this is a computer that is managed by an IT department, please contact your administrator for assistance making these changes.
- If a service or system within your network decrypts https traffic you will need to disable this decryption for the web address https://edtech.ti.com, https://education.ti.com and https://activation.ti.com. If your system only accepts a domain please disable decryption for ti.com. Please contact your service or systems support for information on how to add this exception.
- Other programs can sometimes also hinder a program’s ability to communicate over the internet. Try closing all other applications on your computer, and try again.
- Reboot your computer and attempt your activation again.
- Uninstall and reinstall the software.

This Activation Key has already been claimed
Error: You have already claimed this license key OR This license key has already been claimed.
Resolution: Texas Instruments 16-Character account-based subscription licenses tie your license activation key to your email account once activated. The error “You have already claimed this license key” indicates you have already activated and tied the license to your email address.
Please proceed to the next step which is either installing the Texas Instruments software you purchased or launching the URL for the web application you purchased. To view your licenses and download or open TI software, see My Licenses.
If the error states "The license key has already been claimed", this indicates the license key was activated by a different email address. Please verify you are using the email address tied to your TI software account.
If the above steps do not resolve your issue and you require additional assistance, please contact TI-Cares.
