To resolve the "Error retrieving data from the selected file" message when transferring a program, the latest version of the TI Connect software will need to be installed. Please refer to the instructions below to un-install the TI Connect software from the computer:• Disconnect the TI Connectivity Cable from the computer.
• Go to Start >> Control Panel or Start >> Settings >> Control Panel and select the option "Add or Remove Programs".
• Scroll through the list of installed programs and locate the TI Connect software.
• Click on the TI Connect software from the list of installed programs and select the "Remove" option.
Once the un-install process has completed, re-start the computer and install the latest version of the TI Connect software.
